No, I didn’t watch or listen to it. I have a very low tolerance for political blather from anyone…well, other than myself, of course. But from the snippets I’ve been reading, it was at least as bad as We the Normals® expected it to be:

Now, to underscore how deeply Joe Biden means all of this, tonight’s address in Philadelphia is not being categorized as a campaign event ahead of the midterm elections, which is what it looks like. No. Instead, this speech has the full sponsorship of the White House.
In other words, what Joe Biden is saying right now is the official position of the entire executive branch of the U.S. government. That would include the Justice Department, the various Intel agencies and the world’s most powerful standing military. Think about that.— Tucker Carlson —
I do hope Tucker is very careful in parking garages, going through doors, and such. But he’s hardly alone. Quoth Maura Dowling:

His speech was all puff and he said nothing consequential. The only purpose of the speech was to falsely paint 75 million people who voted for Donald Trump as radical while he dismantles the democracy.
How far is he willing to go with the divisiveness and hate mongering? He has already shown he will weaponize the Justice Department.
This was a laughing stock speech with Biden trying to make this a one party state. He declared half the nation as the enemy. I don’t remember him ever saying anything this nasty about China. It’s frightening.
Maura is right to be frightened. We’re looking at exactly what she describes in the paragraph immediately above. Biden may be a vegetable, but he faithfully says what the teleprompter tells him to say. And the folks who programmed the teleprompter seek to outlaw all opposition to and dissent from the Democrat Party line. Why else would they be defending the actions of an obviously, openly corrupt Department of Justice and FBI?
Nor was there any gentling of the message by our Affirmative Action White House Press Secretary:

The White House Press Secretary said if you don’t agree with the majority, you are an extremist.
“When you are not with where the majority of Americans are, then, you know, that is extreme. That is an extreme way of thinking,” Karine Jean-Pierre said.
During the Bush II Administration, the Left insisted that “Dissent is the highest form of patriotism!” How times have changed!
I’ve been pointing to the writing on the wall for long enough. I can’t keep repeating myself this way and retain any self-respect. The evidence isn’t just persuasive, it’s conclusive and damning. The Usurpers intend a Sovietized America, and current trends continuing, they’ll get their way. The only thing that could possibly stop them is you — and not by “voting harder.”

How long does anyone think it will take, before Xo Bi-den comes right out and demands that half of this country take on the other half, in order to “save” the country? Kristallnacht happened 84 yrs ago, 9-10 November, 1938, and it wasn’t an accident, and had lots of public support. As well as near-full participation by Hitlers’ goon squads of street bullies. Not only did synagogues burn, and businesses, people died, and lots of lives were ruined. The Nazis got everyday people to do Hitlers’ dirty work for him, and that’s what this Goon in Chief has in mind. If no one understands that this political opposition has violent consequences, they’re victims-in-waiting, and when it happens, they shouldn’t expect help, or justice. Who was that philosopher who said that anyone who can make you believe absurdities, will get you to commit atrocities?
I’m kinda squeamish. Watching, listening to someone say stuff I’m Not going to like will just make me feel things I’m just unwilling to put in my own life. Reading reports is more than enough for me. What he said doesn’t bother me Nearly as much as knowing a bunch of people born and raised in this country cheered it. And No, I didn’t call them Americans. They aren’t. They believe we are evil and when you are opposing evil, there are no rules. I don’t know if it’s possible to win in such a situation, but I’m pretty sure we could lose. It’s been a long, years ago, slow spiral down. The constant barrage and the inroads into society, ( Think Story Hour at the library) ,the spiral is Just So Fast now. It’s feeling like we have somewhere between the last half to maybe three quarters of a turn, like a toilet flushing, before we hear the gurgling sound. It’s hard to win when the voice of the people gets stifled by stolen elections.
Who here remembers Her Heinous the Crone of Chappaqua sagely saying “We have the right to debate and disagree with any administation”…
Oh c’mon. We all know that hers is a one way street right now, so it never matters what we recall — until tables turn.

@Sean: That was Voltaire. Like the Nazis and such, it will be done with great enthusiasm. I have a few professional acquaintances who are deep-deep-deep in the liberal tank. They’re all Jabbed Covidians, libs to the core. I have zero doubt that, if caught up by a herd-behavior storm, they’d cheerfully “do” me knowing me to be conservative and pureblood.
