The only GOP governors that are NOT demonized are those that are willing to doff their caps to the Leftists – like Christie. The actual facts on the ground mean nothing to the Left; it’s all about the Narrative.
“News” as a concept, that is, what we used to think of as “Objective News”, is dead. And has been for some time. At least since Watergate (actually, long before, around the time of the Kennedys).
To get a sense of what is actually happening now, there are a few movies that convey parts of the problem:
- The classic Wag the Dog – if you can find a copy of that in VHS, grab it. Unlike the DVDs, it can be played even after it is Un-Acceptable Media.
- Absence of Malice – this movie is about a particular American who was smeared by a journalist, not specifically about the abuses of Leftists. Still worth it.
- Disinformation – the story of a Soviet expert in peddling lies to the Weat. Not available in VHS format.
