…it’s how the attorney found out about it.
Unbelievable. The attorney found out that he was not informed about a meeting between the judge, the star witness, and the prosecutor – which is not only illegal, but grounds for a mistrial AND both the judge and the prosecutor being brought up on charges and potential disbarment.
But the attorney is headed jail for refusing to tell the judge where he heard about it.

The established precedent that a judge is undisputed king in his court is long overdue for serious review.
And if the lawyer DOES give up his source, the judge has made it clear that he will punish the whistleblower, which is a separate felony, even under Georgia law (Federal protections might not apply, as this is a State Court, but there is no doubt that these are “public employers”), because this is a clear ethical and legal violation of a public authority, and the malfeasance while holding that office.
But it’s different when it’s a Democrat, because shut up, racist.
