Leadership, and its effects

Kurt Schlichter has a piece up about the possibility of a draft coming up, and a few of his opinions on it. Now, the reasons for why the military in incapable of recruiting enough abled bodied people are large in number, not the least of which is that our own government considers military members to be possible domestic terrorists. Think on that one for a moment, will ya? “Hey there young man, come join the Army! Oh, you signed on the dotted line! Wonderful! You are now considered the enemy!”

However, many of the military’s problems boil down into one simple statement: The senior military leadership is unfit to lead anything.

The Pentagon leadership is strategically inept. It can’t win major wars. It is totally in thrall to the social pathologies of the left. Who wants to take commands from a man in a dress? The senior officer corps is an absolute disgrace. Senior commanders are being relieved left and right for toxic leadership – try googling “toxic leadership military commanders” and look how many links come up. The command has zero credibility after the COVID disaster in which the military leadership utterly betrayed the troops. You can argue with it, and you can say that people should follow orders to take experimental drugs to prevent a glorified cold, but what you can’t do is expect the people you are forced to do that or forced out of the military entirely to ever trust you again.

The jab mandate set recruiting back decades. I may have mentioned speaking to a couple of recruiters from an Idaho-based recruiting station a couple years ago when the jab mandate was in full force. This was a station where the recruiters didn’t have to pound the streets, they had people knocking on their doors all year long. And they went from making mission year after year to… zero. Nothing. Rolling doughnuts. They couldn’t get anyone to sign on the dotted line. And that was ENTIRELY due to the jab mandate that Lloyd “I’ll fuck the troops over so I can get a cushy job later” Austin, that walking talking oxygen thief.

Our military leadership has lost our trust and respect. They refuse to learn because they have no incentive to learn. There’s no accountability. After the disaster of Afghanistan – with everything from our troops being blown up to people falling off airplanes to military dogs being left to die in cages on the airfield – not a single general officer was relieved. Instead, the Pentagon was high-fiving itself over what a great operation it was and what a huge success Kabul Airport turned out to be. No wonder no one trusts our military enough to put their lives in the generals’ and admirals’ hands. 

I wouldn’t trust the Perfumed Princes of the Puzzle Palace to do anything right. They could fuck up a wet dream. They couldn’t lead a platoon of Infantry into a strip club that was serving free beer. Every three and four star officer needs to be cashiered, right now, and maybe THEN we can start to undo the damage, but even if you replaced every woke, DEI-sucking moron with an actual warrior it would take years to fix everything that they’ve fucked up.

If the corrupt Biden regime was worth fighting for and defending, people would be signing up. But the hard-core door kickers and trigger pullers see just who and what Biden is, and what he is not. They see men in dresses getting promoted and pushing mental illness into the military. They see their uncles, friends, family come back from serving and are told “Don’t join right now”.

So naturally, the corrupt regime will try to push a draft. I don’t see that going over very well. In fact, I see that coming out very badly for Biden and his crony generals. Other than the 69th Intersection Dildo Brigade, who in the hell do they think is going to just go along with this?

Gah. When Mark Milley and Lloyd Austin are put on trial for treason and sentenced to death, I want to be the one to pull that lever. But I’m willing to bet that there are so many vets who are of the same mindframe that you could sell lottery tickets and help pay down the national debt.

Leadership matters. And we have none at the national level right now.
