How would you like your purchasing rights restricted by unseen forces putting pressure on your financial institutions?
Well, I didn’t. And for now I’ve put a stop to one of mine. It’s a dead certainty I could not be the only customer who complained. I have no idea who or how many, but I am grateful they are there.
And I now will remain vigilant for the next attempt because that is the long maintained pattern of the Progs.
Two weeks ago I signed on to my bill payer program. Before I could proceed, I was greeted by a demand to agree to an egregious new Terms of Service, a TOS. Here is a portion of the first most striking section of the 26 pages.
13. Prohibited Payments. The following types of payments are prohibited through the Service, and we have the right but not the obligation to monitor for, block, cancel and/or reverse such payments:
a. Payments to or from persons or entities located in prohibited territories (including any territory outside of the United States); and
d. Payments related to: (1) tobacco products, (2) prescription drugs and devices; … (5) ammunition, firearms, or firearm parts or related accessories; (6) weapons or knives regulated under applicable law; … (9) goods or services that promote hate, violence, racial intolerance, or the financial exploitation of a crime; … (11) goods or services that include any language or images that are bigoted, hateful, racially offensive, vulgar, obscene, indecent or discourteous;….
I registered a protest with my agent. He opened two separate cases. When I last followed up he said the cases were being reviewed at the corporate level by lawyers. That I’d get an email response.
To date, I’ve heard nothing back. However, two days ago I logged in. Was greeted by that demand to agree to the TOS again.
But this time, instead of 26 pages, there were 9. And here is the portion that remained from what you see above.
I. Prohibited Payments
Payments to Billers outside of the United States or its territories are prohibited through the Service.
Please let this serve to bolster your faith in what can be achieved. Let your common sense tell you when you cannot be alone disliking what the powers that be are trying to shove down your throat. There is power in numbers and you want to be one of them. The biggest Powers need us to comply. Social engineering is all about convincing us we are pitiful, alone, and to just take what they choose to give and just shut up.
Now, maybe, read this again. It may be more understandable given this small victory.
The bigger war is far from over. One reason I remain concerned even with this matter is that the TOS was changed without me being notified. This prevented corporate from taking a stand on it. They simply backtracked. And they may have done so only for me and others who complained. They could have — would have — left the intrusive TOS in place for all who agreed to it. I have no way of knowing.
If you don’t like the social credit system of the CCP, you may glimpse with this one of many attempts to duplicate it. Many in the USA, through PC and financial pressures behind ESG, are trying to turn us into the USSA.
Fran’s piece earlier today, The Weapon, is quite grim. But it need not be deterministic. All that is required for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing observed Edmund Burke. I don’t see any evidence that that has changed.
