Yesterday I found out that the local TLM Catholic church had planned a Rosary procession around the city park. I’ve been told for years that the Rosary is one of the most powerful weapons that the Catholic Church has. So….

We did all three sets of mysteries. Yes, I know JPII put the Luminous Mysteries in there, but they just don’t fit. Not really. It’s like bolting an un-needed part onto a classic car.
Anyways. Walked around the park about four or five times, although I wasn’t counting as I was more concerned with meditating on the mysteries. Ended up on Independence Point for final prayers and the blessing, which is where this picture is from.
I left feeling better than when I got there. Which, after seeing everything coming out of western North Carolina, the government inaction/ineptitude/incompetence/interference, let’s just say that I’ve never leaned into H.L. Mencken’s quote about raising the black flag harder than I am now.
As much as I always say to buy more ammo, perhaps I should add on that we need to pray.
So, on that note, pray. And buy more ammo.

While I am not Catholic, I’m happy you found a relieving way to meditate and pray at length. I regularly pray for wisdom to gain or make constructive use of so much — an onslaught — of information. More power to you.
