Swamp Rats Scurrying

Sadly, Gaetz’ withdrawal got them some more breathing room. This, Matt Gaetz: What Actually Happened, provides readers some more inkling on the intricate methods of the worst Swamp creatures.

On how many people in DC do they have stronger strings they have been threatening to pull? I’m surmising on at least 4 GOP senators. So few rise to high office lacking some strings.

Aside from that conjecture and the current loss of a maybe too brash crusader, the subject link I found to be an interesting read.

So many people involved. So many agencies.

Pam Bondie, a pick I’m happy with and President Trump gets to appoint Deputy Attorney General as her second in command. Maybe this was the long game and we’ll find Gaetz as the DAG.

    1. DeSantis already said he’s replacing Rubio with Gaetz. The 4 GOP senators may yet regret their resistance to him being posted for only 4 years.

Cancel this. I was misled by a headline and my own bias.

  1. When did Desantis say that? I cannot find a confirmation.

    [Thanks — PF]

    1. Oops, apparently he didn’t say so — yet. I misunderstood this headline at CFP.
“Governor DeSantis, it is time to appoint Matt Gaetz as U.S. Senator to replace Marco Rubio.”
I failed to follow through on the link.

A friend thought the Gaetz nomination was intended as a shot across the bow of the Uni-Party. In a vid a couple of days ago, Gaetz was showing someone else the different Congresscreeps’ offices and for whom they were on the take.
That, and the speed Pam Bondi was selected, make me think she was right. Hegseth could be another case.

Me:  I am not and don’t want to be anti-Semitic, nor do I want to be perceived as anti-Semitic.
Also me:  Having one hell of a hard time not noticing that most of the bad actors in this scenario are Jewish.

    1. Any bad actors ostensibly identifiable as Jewish are far removed from the moral values of that religion. It’s in part because they’ve latched onto other beliefs, too often associated with intellectualism. Human failings compounded by arrogance in believing they know what’s best. Gratitude and humility and patience does not fit into the character that presumes that God is only a concept and no longer useful. That’s a formula for anyone to become an apostate to the religion and often an antagonist to it. It’s hard to blame anyone for noticing what you do, but applies across the board for all arrogant bastards.
