I’m not one to spend a lot of time correcting people. Unless I have personal knowledge to the contrary, or the misstatement/claim/lie is particularly bad, I tend to think Bull$hit, and move on.
But this truly irritates me.
Vox Populi, one of those “I’m SUCH an Ultra Male, that when I pontificate, don’t even QUESTION me!”
For some idiot reason, he is obsessed with height. Recently, I’ve noticed that he has claimed that Donald Trump is around 5’6″.
??????
Yes, he probably is kinda crazy.
For those who’ve seen his ‘proof’, her is a picture:
Anyone who has seen the extreme height-changing in the Lord of the Rings trilogy knows that the angle at which a photo is taken can affect the height differential between people in the picture. For example, here:
Who among us really believes that the Bidens are GIANTS?
Yes, people DO shrink a little with age – sometimes as much as several inches.
But, not THAT much!
Any video, or head-on photo (where there is not a wide-angle lens being used, or an angle that distorts height comparisons) will clearly show that the claims for a short Trump are ridiculous.
I have to believe it’s because of men’s desire to not be upstaged by a Bigger Man.

I saw that too. Now I’m on a Tylenol regime because I sprained one of my eyes rolling them.
I quit reading Vox Populi, (Vox Day), long ago. His claims to fame are comic books, video games and a visceral hatred of Boomers. Most of his posts descend into sheeplike bleats of “Boomer Ba-a-a-a-a-d, Boomer Ba-a-a-a-a-d.”
Vox’s point was that there are several photos out there recently where you can see that the Donald in the picture is 6’3″ in some shots and 5”7″ in others. His point is that they are using impersonators for some reason.
Hard to say that camera angle & lens choice would make that possible if the photos were not planned, but the 3 photos you have above each could have been done with a wide-angle lens and have the forward subject appear bigger.
Vox would be a blithering idiot, if he only knew how to blither. I quit reading him years ago.
Day suffers from the “Little Man complex” and is mournful that he missed being a boomer by about 5 years.
