I’ve seen clips of Shawn Ryan’s show for a while now, but this is the first time I’ve ever stopped what I was doing and sat through an entire episode. Fr. Dan Reehil is an exorcist here in the United States, and listening to him describe his job is like having Einstein explain math to you. It also fills in quite a bit of theological knowledge that typically didn’t get taught in church, despite me having all the classes required to be confirmed.
Also, just in case you want some good music in your life, there’s a website that plays Catholic music 24/7, for free. It’s Classical Catholic Radio, and as I type this I’m listening to a choir sing Psalm 32. I’ve heard Gregorian Chant, classic four-part harmony such as Panis Angelicus and Tantum Ergo, and one or two relatively “modern” songs. You can tell the modern songs because they’re in English.
I find myself needing this sort of comfort these days.

Having cast a demon out myself, by the authority of Jesus the Christ, I can tell you that it’s not a big deal or something you need training for.
But it is rewarding.
I’ve been listening to CCR (no, not Credeence) for a few months now, & I can attest to the quality of the station, FWIW.
Thank you very much for the link to the interview of Fr. Reehil. He’s not very far from me! And, the Catholic radio station is absolutely amazing!
Merry Christmas!
