The legacy media, also known as the Democrat-Media Complex, loves them a school shooting that they can use to attack the right. If it’s white people shooting up kids or people of color, the calls for gun control will ring from the Left before the bodies have even cooled.
However, I’m guessing that this particular school shooting is going to be dumped into the memory-hole even faster than that.
The shooter is a black male.
The shooter ended up killing himself.
And they’ve already found the shooters writings, which include paragraphs such as this:
“I was so miserable. I wanted to kill myself. I just couldn’t take anymore. I am a worthless subhuman, a living breathing disgrace. All my (in real life) friends outgrew me act like they didn’t f—ing know me. Being me was so f—ing humiliating. That’s why I spend all day dissociating.”
You see, if the Democrat-Media Complex were to actually investigate this shooting, they might have to do a deep dive into what makes a seventeen year old boy so depressed that he goes on a murder-suicide path. They might have to look at the state of the culture, and the Leftists who drive it. They might have to actually look at the publik skool sistim in depth, with all it’s failures and tortures and soul-crushing nihilism. All of it run and controlled by the Left. If the Democrat Media looked at this story, they might find out things that could hurt their political allies. They might have to figure out what makes a seventeen year old boy call himself a “living breathing disgrace”.
They cannot and will not do any reporting that would criticize the Left. And so this story is going to be swept under the run. Because in the end, the calls for gun control are not about guns, they are about control.
My heart breaks for the victims.
