Tillis personally assured Danielle Hegseth in a call on Jan. 19, witnessed by two other people, that if she signed the statement testifying that she believed her former brother-in-law Pete Hegseth has an alcohol abuse problem and was abusive to his second wife, it would carry weight, and potentially move three votes—his own, along with the votes of Sens. Susan Collins (R., Maine) and Lisa Murkowski (R., Alaska), those people said.

Speaking of which, I was watching a few minutes of the dog and pony show surrounding Kennedy’s nomination. Worse than torture! I turned it off once Ron Wyden from Oregon began to speak. An obnoxious, lisping locust! How in the hell did these genetic defectives rise to the top of the heap?!?
As a resident of Oregon, I am a direct victim of our Senator from New York (where he lives) Ron Wyden (spit!).
It’s my belief that he gets “re-elected” through the miracle of mail-in voting. I don’t believe we’ve had an honest election in 30 odd years. It’s hard to be sure since there are so many lunatics in Portland. But Portland is not Oregon and Oregon is not Portland.
Same crap in WA-one honest election with voter ID, no mail ins and rigorous absentee voting rules combined with a precinct only count, no schuffling “boxes” of ballots hither & yon with the results turned in ON ELECTION DAY would show there is no way WA is 65-70% dem.

As a resident of NC I know the only reason Thom Tillis is senator is that when he ran against a true conservative, Dr. Greg Bannon, the state’s GOP machine rigged the vote by altering the districts shortly before that election. Previously Tillis was in the State House as Speaker of the House. He’s conservative when it’s politically expedient but at heart he’s a true RINO.
