I’m a rural / suburban guy by choice. Large numbers of people densely packed together – hint: it’s not to keep them “fresh” – frighten me. I question their sanity along with their sanitation. To make my befuddlement worse, now and then a story like this one will come along:
Humanity is sick of “Palestine” terror mobs. Today, New Yorkers threw garbage and dog shit at them!
High five ✋🏼 if you support this. pic.twitter.com/2Mha2UEHSG

I don’t dispute the accuracy of the observation above. Neither would I contest the choice of target. I just want to know one thing: Why are apartment-dwellers keeping bags of dog poop in their apartments? Is it a bonding ritual or some such?

A number of years back I ran a job sandblasting the stairwells in NYC housing projects. It was left unpainted because they were getting the paint to burn, but that’s a diff story, anyway. As superintendent I had to attend all kinds of meetings prior to starting the work.
One of the oddest things was they had a requirement that we not have equipment or personnel stationary within 30 feet of the buildings at any time. I asked if this was a noise issue or something. Was told no, the residents tended to toss things out the windows at anything official looking and it was hard for them to toss anything heavy beyond 25 feet or so.
