My friend you have pushed a button. Cinco de Mayo! Why are some folks celebrating a battle victory of Mexico? What other ethnic group celebrates victories from their country of origin in this country? Is it because Mexico finally won one battle? Either you are an American or not. If not I’m sure Mexico would be happy to see you return.

Hey! I celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day, Columbus Day, and the Festival of San Gennaro. My wife celebrates various Russian and Jewish holidays. Let the Mexicans have their day. We can enjoy it too. In this country, any excuse for a party is good enough!
