If you haven’t yet viewed last night’s Tucker Carlson Tonight, the first fifteen minutes of it, at least, are very much worth your time. Carlson is forthright in predicting the imminent removal of “President” Joseph R. Biden – by his own party. His analysis of the reasons for foreseeing this unprecedented event are simple and clear. They come down to this: Biden is an embarrassment that threatens Democrat Party hegemony over Washington.
An electoral disaster for the Democrats is looming. Both Houses of Congress are now predicted to fall to Republican control. There’s probably no way to avert it at this stage. All the same, the Party would like to retain some measure of influence on Capitol Hill. So if Tucker is correct, they’re about to try the Praetorian Guard stunt: they’ll remove the “emperor” and slot in a new one.
Trouble is, while Carlson is correct about the Party’s self-protective priorities, the ambitions of individuals must still be reckoned with. There are a number of Democrats who want the Oval Office for themselves, and they’ll do just about anything to get it.
For starters, consider the person nominally next in line for the presidency under the established rule of succession: Vice-President Kamala Harris. Would the Democrats’ strategists and kingmakers contemplate even for an instant allowing the universally disliked and ridiculed Harris into the power seat? It seems unthinkable. Yet there she is; what could they do about her? No doubt high-ranking Democrats are pondering that question as we speak.
Let’s imagine that the Democrats do find a way to dispose of Harris without undue violence. Who comes next? Why, it’s the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi! Is this…person any more suitable as the next figurehead for the hard-Left Establishmentarians in control of the federal government? Probably not; Pelosi is older than Biden and has virtually no power base any longer, even within the House Democrat caucus. More, recently she’s been embarrassing herself in public almost as often as has Biden. So she’s another obstacle to be cleared away.
After the Speaker of the House comes the President Pro Tempore of the Senate. Right now that’s eighty-two year old Patrick Leahy. Is Leahy any better than Biden or Pelosi as a figurehead for the Administration? Where are the young guns of the Democrat Party? Does it have any, or have age and too tenacious a grip on power by septuagenarians and octogenarians hollowed out its “presentable” cadre?
The Democrats must decide immediately. The Speaker of the House and President Pro Tem of the Senate would both fall to the Republicans after January 3, 2023. A midterm transition of power in the White House would threaten the Democrats even more seriously than leaving Biden in the Oval Office…and it has become clear that they cannot leave Biden in the Oval Office. The stakes have risen too high and the odds against them are too great.
It’s not looking good, Gentle Reader – and I mean that both for the Democrats and for the country. For while none of those individuals are fit for the purpose of supplanting the increasingly embarrassing Biden, each of them will fight a outrance for the possibility of sitting at the Resolute desk. There’s going to be a bloodbath – at a time of crisis, widespread discontent, and loss of popular confidence beyond anything the nation has experienced since the attack on Pearl Harbor.
Pray that the tide won’t drown the rest of the country.

My belief (and it is only a belief) is that the string pullers have decided that no matter what the depth of Kamala’s stupidity is, that they can pull her strings more effectively than they now can Sleepy Joe’s. I further predict that President Harris will be successfully manipulated into not running in 2024. Either that or she will suffer the ‘Hillary Solution’.
This is not original with me; it has been posited elsewhere, but I place it here to add more grist to your mill. First, the relevant section of Amendment 22:
No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of President more than once.
Emphasis mine. Suppose Biden resigns or is ousted–a very realistic possibility. Harris becomes President automatically. She then nominates B.H. Obama as her Vice-President. I am aware of no Constitutional obstacle to this. Next, Harris resigns. By virtue of Amendment 20, Obama becomes President by operation of law. Since he was not “elected” to this position, the language of Amendment 22 would not seem to preclude him from becoming President upon Harris’ resignation. All this would, of course need to be prearranged, including Harris’ acquiescence, but with the current make-up of Congress, it is a possibility. I do not think Harris has the degree of desire to actually be President so as to eliminate her cooperation, either, given the proper, eh, “inducements.”

You’re spot-on about the language. I wonder whether the Democrats have the gall to try it. It’s clear they’d love to pull it off.
Any Republican in either House of Congress that voted for Obama under those circumstances would face pitchforks and torches. I also doubt Manchkin could survive the wrath of the citizens of WVA. In any case, this has to be attempted before the midterms and would probably be the trigger for some really bad things.
Interesting that the 22nd Amendment wasn’t updated when the 25th was passed.
Look at the videos taken during Obama’s White House visit just the other day. The empty suit president wanders aimlessly around with a blank stare while everyone else in the room is oo-ing and ahhh-ing over “The One”.

The quasi-hot war in Ukraine is far from over and, like all things in war, has the potential to suddenly change. And there’s no way to predict if, how, when or what.
So, a Russian missile launched from an aircraft goes off course and hits a town in Poland with civilian casualties. Calls for a no-fly zone become overwhelming. Or the Russians find out where Zelenskyy and his cabinet are hiding and apply a tactical nuke to solve that pesky problem. Meanwhile, Biden’s handlers are busy with lawyers deep into 25th amendment what-iffing and vetting credible candidates to take power after the virtual beheading of the Biden-Harris-Pelosi-Schumer crowd.
The military command – the guys and gals who actually have to fight – have zero confidence in Biden and they realize that there will be no orders, no plan, no mission, no goals and no unity. US armed forces worldwide — people, aircraft, ships, bases and everything else are at great risk while some Democrat is trying to figure out the “correct messaging” that will get support from the “core constituencies”.
I never thought that a military coup could come to America. Couldn’t imagine any scenario that made sense. I hope to G*d I have not found it.

They blew their chance that the SCOTUS opening gave them. They could have nominated Kamala to get rid of her, replaced her with whomever they wanted and then remove Biden. The tricky part would be peeling off 1 Republican vote for the new VP, since Kamala wouldn’t be there as the tie-breaker, but hey, there’s always Pierre Delecto.

Creepy Joe’s disposition will come AFTER the determination as to whether or not to escalate directly against Putin. If the Democrats decide that this is useful to preserving their own power, they’ll do that first, and then blame FJB.
