To all who come to this happy place: Welcome. Disneyland is your land. Here age relives fond memories of the past, and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future. For 67 years that speech was delivered – but not this year.
Disney won’t say why they made the change, but I’m going to go out on a limb and suggest that the word that triggered the woke Disney execs was “America.”
Please reflect on the “values,” if the word fits, of a company whose management has decided to cancel its founder, the highest icon of children’s entertainment America has ever produced.
Words fail me. But then, sometimes there are no words.

Walt is turning in his grave (minus his head in cryofreeze if you believe the rumors). Disney is destroying itself and I find it delicious.
They took Star Wars woke and that was inexcusable. It has ruined the franchise for me. I doubt I will ever see it in a theater again in any iteration. The original had magic and even joy. Now blow stuff up and no plot whatsoever. We went to the original a half dozen times. I have not gone to see ANY Disney product in the theater in decades.
When their management tangled with Ron Desantis they lost a big battle. Their “special” deal was tossed and now they must pay through the nose like all other businesses. If they had kept their mouths shut and not pushed their queer agendas nothing would have changed. Go woke, go broke!
