If you’re a regular Gentle Reader of Liberty’s Torch, you may have noticed that we’ve had an outage here for about 18 hours. That was a consequence of a “port” of the site from a sluggish server to a better one by our Web host. The new server was apparently incompatible with some “plugin” added to WordPress by the original configurer…which, as I’m sure you can tell from the wording, wasn’t your humble Curmudgeon. The nice folks at Hosting Matters have taken action to restore the site, and there was much rejoicing.
I can’t tell you anything more substantial about the outage, as I’m almost totally unknowledgeable about WordPress and its various add-ons. However, the site is back, and We the Content Creators will be back to work post-haste.
