Looking Behind the Headline

Apparently, Lindell is saying that the FL elections were rigged – by DeSantis, according to the echo chamber formerly known as the mainstream media.

[Cue obligatory WTF moment]
Nah. Not likely, for reasons stated in the linked article.

So, what is the accusation about?

DeSantis has continued his favorable ratings, been re-elected with an impressive number of votes, and has done so without catching major flack from the mainstream media.

Several possibilities:

Trump is envious of DeSantis’ growing popularity and influence, and is doing this to clear a competitor out of contention.
The media/their henchmen are feeding this story to Trump, in hopes of creating a breach in the New GOP Wall, and – perhaps – bringing them BOTH down. Given this story is ONLY appearing in the Legacy Media, probably the most likely explanation.

Trump and/or DeSantis really playing 3-D chess, and are using this to unmask the moles in their organizations.

Or, Lindell is just Coo-coo for Cocoa Puffs.

Any other ideas?

  1. I got nothin’.
Is Lindell so pro-Trump that he, like Trump would try and knock down Desantis, the only real GOP challenge to Trump for ’24?

  2. The Trump and Never Trump wings of the party are engaged in internecine warfare that will tear the party into segments, thus ensuring Democrat victory in 24. Whether that war has been initiated from within the Democrat party or from one of the wings of the Republican party is immaterial. The power struggle is counter productive and will ensure victory for the Democrats.
However, if you were to ask me, I would tell you that it was instigated from the Never Trump wing of the party, headed by Mitch McConnell and Mike Pence. Trump is egotistical enough to fall for it and have his allies engage.

  3. Sounds to me like he sees something odd in the results and just wants to know why.
That part of FL historically votes crooks in, and keeps them.  If something changed, I would like to know what so we can replicate it.
If it is crooked, I would like to know that as well.  I am of the mindset that they all cheat.  There are NO good politicians.
I am in the ‘question everything’ camp.
It being cold enough to kill you here in N central Ohio, I have time to read/watch these kinda things today!

    Merry Christmas one and all!

It is a mistake for DeSantis to run.  Most Trump supporters, and there are tens of millions of them, won’t vote for DeSantis if Trump is ousted from the campaign by dirty tricks.  DeSantis would have to woo the Trump voters away from Trump and that is virtually impossible.  Whether you like Trump or hate him the simple fact is this is Trumps to win or lose and not DeSantis’s.   All that DeSantis can do is be a spoiler.   If DeSantis waits he has a good shot at 2028 (if America is still here).  But a run in 2024 will merely put him out of the run for president permanently.
