Not many will recall the Sons of Champlin:
Every now and then I need to spend a little time in the Sixties. No, not for the “Summer of Love” BS. (Dear God, what an unhygienic concept!) Just for the music. Oh, here’s a little more, from Procol Harum’s glorious second album, Shine On Brightly:
Enjoy.

Oh YES Francis. Shine on Brightly was one of my favorite LPs from that era. My then girlfriend and I were in a record store where you could listen to select LPs on headphones. Put SOB on and Quite Rightly So played. It was a done deal then. I was a Procol Harum fan, already having their first LP, and Shine on Brightly reinforced that admiration.
Sadly, I understand Gary Brooker passed away earlier this year.
