Capturing The Moment

Were you under the impression that the United States is not currently in a state of civil war?

All links are courtesy of the invaluable Gateway Pundit.

     This is America today:
A nation where “activists” claim the “right” to rampage through cities, burning, looting, and occasionally murdering without legal penalty, in the name of “justice.”
A nation where a sitting legislator can preconvict a police officer on trial for his life, demand riots and widespread vandalism should the jury decide otherwise, and not be censured by her colleagues.
A nation where another sitting legislator can demand punishment for uninvolved policemen, simply because they were present at the time, and similarly suffer no censure.
A nation torn asunder by racially-based insurrection.
A nation in which good men sit wringing their hands while all the above transpires.

But don’t you dare dissent from the “justice” of all the above. The death threats would be immediate. Tomi Lahren could tell you.

I predict that the moment I’ve captured here will have one of two consequences: either it will galvanize a live-ammo counter-revolution to take the nation back, restore order, and hang the provocateurs responsible for the current chaos; or it will be ignored except for a few words of demurral from “cooler heads.” There are always “cooler heads,” you know. They’re the “moderates,” the “reasonable men” who insist on a “compromise” that won’t compel them to act against what’s plainly evil.

(Edmund Burke, where are you when we need you?)

We’re heading for a state of affairs in which those “cooler heads” are likely to be mounted on pikes – an outcome that will make this scenario one we’ll wish we’d attained instead.

That’s it for the moment, Gentle Reader. At any rate, it’s all I can stomach. It’s time to clean and oil all the guns. I have a feeling I’ll be needing them soon.

I spent some time loading magazines yesterday.

The soap box has been censored, the jury box has been intimidated, the ballot box has been defrauded. That leaves us with…

I’ll have to sight in the AR.  And soon.  While I don’t foresee the mob invading my neck of the woods, one never knows, does one?

What the Chauvin verdict(s) has done is give license to the mob to increase their violence.  Once the war starts in full force, when whites are slaughtered in the hundreds, I only have one question.  Are we allowed to shoot back?

I suspect sooner or later some people (I do not endorse that) will come to the same conclusion as the police in Rio de Janeiro:

    Shoot, shovel, shut up.

    Black Ops

    Plausible deniability.

Some people will just disappear, never to be seen again. Or found weeks later that even forensics are helpless.

I suspect the Bryant shooting will be swept under the rug. They’re trying to argue ‘oh noez she was just 15-16 years old’, but having video of her trying to shank two other girls is making that awfully flimsy (two other black girls, let’s not forget).

The situation overall is dire verging on catastrophic, and we haven’t even rolled into the summer yet. I would like to note that there is no easy option for good people to ‘do something’. Act against the narrative, even in a fairly trivial way, and you will be doxed, threatened, fired, assaulted, etc.

There are islands of sanity, but we are going to have to ring them with walls and spikes.

I’m ready for the two doors.

This is most certainly NOT a civil war. This is only miscreants running amuck at this point. The civil war will kick off when the other side decides to start fighting.

    1. Those “miscreants running amuck” have seized control of major population centers with the passive cooperation of the regional authorities. At this point they even hold sway over portions of the justice system. That’s civil-warish enough for me.

Once upon a time, just west of me, some of the indigenous population rose up and slaughtered many white folks. Did not turn out well for those vengeful people trying to right perceived wrongs done to them.  I would caution folks to read their history and learn. There is nothing so strong as the blood lust of an aggrieved people witness to their kin preyed upon. I pray we will not have to go through that again.
