One of the tidbits of knowledge that I’ve gained recently is that Israel, for all you see their Soldiers walking around with guns at the beach, or at a pizza joint, has severe gun control throughout the country. That actually made me stop and scratch my head.
A country of millions, surrounded by BILLIONS of people who want to kill them, refuses to allow it’s citizens to protect themselves with firearms? I wonder how many of the people murdered by Hamas last week would have been alive if they had guns in their homes? “Oh look darling, terrorists are going door to door and killing women and children. Let’s get our AR15 and show them the error of their ways.”
Instead they huddled in their homes listening to the gunshots get closer and closer until their door was kicked in and it was there turn.
Any government that refuses the right of self defense to it’s citizens is complicit with the murder of said citizens.
I wonder if that’s going to change any time soon after the latest development.

‘Gun Control’ kills.
That is indeed baffling given that most Israelis have military experience, Israel should take a lesson from Switzerland which allows its reservists to keep their firearms in their homes.
Israel’s government is just as corrupt as ours, and fears the populace more than Hamas.
Natrually, they want the people disarmed. And if they lose a few to terrorists, so much the better for extracting more graft money from the US.
Government functionaries know the chances of their being personally affected by their enemies is slim. But if the people learn of their malfesance and rise up against them, well, that risk is too great to be accepted.
Yes, yes, better to disarm them.
The same in Germany.
A friend of mine went to the local mayor`s office and inquired upon a gun permit because of Israel. You know, What if it happens here?
He was thrown out with the words:
That wont happen here! The muslims here are nice and good citizens! Are you a nazi implying that muslims are not nice? And if something happens then its the police job! You must have Verfolgungswahn aka persecution mania. I will report you to the office so that you have to take an idiots tests aka Medical-psychological assessment (Germany) so turn over your drivers licence.
Fortunately he did it in another town and second, after hearing those words he ran like hell.
