Give No Quarter To Those Who Seek Your Blood (UPDATED)

I was pleased to read this, from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:

While Israel is doing everything to get Palestinian civilians out of harm’s way, Hamas is doing everything to keep Palestinian civilians in harm’s way. Israel urges Palestinian civilians to leave the areas of armed conflict, while Hamas prevents those civilians from leaving those areas at gunpoint. Hamas is preventing foreign nationals from leaving Gaza altogether.

Some won’t believe it, of course. Some will insist that Israel is bent upon “genocide.” But Israel has repeatedly exercised incredible restraint in retaliating against Hamas and Hezbollah when they’ve harmed Israel. Israeli medics have expended their energies and supplies on Palestinian fighters wounded in the course of such a conflict. The return on their expenditures has been nothing but grief.

Hamas and Hezbollah intend the elimination of Israel – a goal of which their supporters, near or far, cannot be ignorant. It’s been plain and open for decades. It’s stated openly in the Hamas Charter. Indeed, Islam preaches the genocide of Jews everywhere. It’s in the Koran and in the ahadith.

There can be no negotiations between Israel and such monsters. Because of them and their repeated assaults on Israel, the Jewish state is on a war footing. All that remains is for whatever Israeli authority has the power to declare: “The state of Israel is at war with Hamas and intends its complete destruction. There will be no cease-fires, no negotiations, and no armistices. Israel will entertain no offers of surrender. This war will continue until Hamas has been wiped from existence. Any civilian casualties from this war will be to the account of Hamas.”

Let Washington’s “foreign policy establishment” rave to its heart’s content. Let the “international community” weep and wring its hands. Israel has had enough and will endure no more. Perhaps after Hamas has been eliminated to the last man, Israel will know a measure of peace…though being surrounded by tens of millions of Muslims will make complete relaxation hard to achieve.

UPDATE: Do not imagine that it can be any other way:

Don’t you dare say anything to me about “the rules of war.” Wars of extermination have no rules.

Sadly, Genocide will be a main course menu item for the banquet of consequences as a result of our quiet acceptance of ‘Diversity’ once folks realize it is Us or Them.

    1. I fear you are correct…but the decisions that brought us to that pass cannot be unmade.

Of course, there’s always the “Two Doors”

Maybe of interest. I was reading through the archives Jerry Pournelle’s Chaos Manor posts this evening and the following reminded me of Israel’s blowing up that camp trying to kill a notorius terrorist:

    Sunday, August 8, 2919
    Anniversary of the Nagasaki bomb

Sometime before 25 July, 1945, according to his diary, Truman ordered the Secretary of War to choose a Japanese military target. His diary entry says:

“This weapon is to be used against Japan between now and August 10th. I have told the Sec. of War, Mr. Stimson, to use it so that military objectives and soldiers and sailors are the target and not women and children. Even if the Japs are savages, ruthless, merciless and fanatic, we as the leader of the world for the common welfare cannot drop that terrible bomb on the old capital or the new.

“He [Secretary of War] and I are in accord. The target will be a purely military one and we will issue a warning statement asking the Japs to surrender and save lives. I’m sure they will not do that, but we will have given them the chance. It is certainly a good thing for the world that Hitler’s crowd or Stalin’s did not discover this atomic bomb. It seems to be the most terrible thing ever discovered, but it can be made the most useful…”

To the people that want believe that Israel is not giving the people a chance to leave.  Get over it, I’m sure we would buy one way tickets to let you  go stand in Gaza and support these evil people. Let me say this , anyone who is still in Gaza is either a hostage or supporters of hamas   If they die so be it they are just as guilty of the terror hamas has done. You see in the real world if I stand next to my friend while he kills someone, I don’t report it , I don’t try to stop him and I don’t leave then I get charged with murder just because I was there and did nothing to stop it and use the excuse of “”I was to scared to turn him in / feared for me and my family “” That don’t cut it, your still guilty of murder and guilty of not being a real man because you have no self respect or love for others.
Well the same applies to the people that have not left Gaza or told where hamas positions are at. Oo I here the masses saying “the people are to scared to tell on them” to them I say stop making excuses  , if they support violence, evil and terror they will be treated the same as being in that group. So stop sitting in the middle of the fence.  Either get to leavening or get to dying the choice is there’s not Israel’s
Just because a complete genocide of a group of  people get wiped out don’t make Israel bad when the group that gets wiped out are supporters of terror. It just means a lot of bad , mean people got what they asked for and deserved.

There is also no sense in obeying a set of rules (that your enemy knows in great detail) while that same enemy follows no such rules. There is a reason why the Geneva Conventions recognize the differences between soldiers, paramilitary/irregulars, and criminal thugs.

Palestine has UN recognition and an elected government, and is therefore a nation/state committing Acts of War against a neighboring nation. Israel has every right to defend itself using whatever force is needed to end the fight. I do not address any allegations as to root causes nor do I suggest that the US is in any way obligated to spend either blood or treasure on either side, but Israel has the same right to defend itself as the US would if nations to our south were sending in armed men of military age without any sort of interdiction or defense… oh, wait.
