No surgery yet. I have an appointment with a shoulder specialist on Thursday. Pain level: worst at night, in the early morning hours. Bearable otherwise.
My wonderful daughter, the sister, gave me assistance with my first shower in a week. That did a lot to improve my wellbeing, and probably make it more bearable to be around me.
Assuming a normal recovery, I should be good to be on my own in another week or so. By that time, my husband should have had time to finish all details with the house sale, and drive back.

Had my 7th shoulder surgery (3L, 4 R) yesterday.

I’ve had both of mine replaced, in January they removed all the old hardware of the left shoulder due to an infection, put me on 6 weeks of antibiotics and added a “spacer” to keep things aligned. July 5th they will go back in and add new hardwares with the hope that this will end it once and for all. The right shoulder, also a total replacement has preformed excellent. Wishing you the best of luck with the advice, if you have access to a pool after your wounds have healed, swim the breaststroke.
