Re-Recession on the Way?

Not surprised. It’s happened, just masked with taxpayer-paid giveaways, manipulation with the dollar, and some – um, Creative Accounting.

The trick for the Dems/Left is to control the timing of the actual fall/crash. Ideally, the Pro-Trump crowd would give them an excuse to let the girders propping up the whole mess, so TPTB can blame it all on THEM.

Their BEST outcome will likely to put their influence/pressure/blackmail/coercion on the GOP leadership to nominate a Not-Trump guy/girl/LGBT+… who will relish ‘their’ place in the sun, and talk tough enough to get the votes.

Then, as soon as elected, and sadly shaking their head at the crisis (hint: it’s not a CRISIS if it could have been seen from Pluto that it was coming), intone that Strong Measures must be taken to SStoave the Economy and American Democracy.

[PAUSE FOR APPLAUSE]

In other words, McCain/Romney/Bush – I and II, all over again. Bail out the rich, save THEIR own retirement funds, and, for God’s sake, DON’T let the Moneyed Rich and Influential go broke!

Same advice as always:

My state, OH, apparently does allow for write-in candidates. Check the status of such votes in your state. Expect that TPTB will try to disallow your vote on the grounds that the candidate is a felon. Read your state rules, but – as this is a Federal office, they may not be able to disallow Trump in many states.

But, yes, I do expect this to come to a head soon.

    I wish you were right, but I think all is lost and nothing will be done. All hope is lost and there are not enough MEN  to turn this around. It was a good run as a republic but now that has came to a end and we will never get it back because there is not enough of us left that had family die for this country to stand firm and together and throw out this government and replace them with American loving people. Hang you head low and your flag upside down because we are done.

      There is no one here at Liberty’s Torch, whether writing, commenting or just reading and lurking, who isn’t well aware of how dire the circumstances. Nobody was waiting around for “steve” to confirm that its over. Alrighty boys, pack her up and start heading home. Steve says its all over, we’ve lost. Nothing left to do now but wait to die.

      Y’all can do whatever you want but I’m never gonna quit and just give up. I’m just not made that way. And I didn’t spend all this money prepping and time at the range to just lay down and quit. We haven’t even begun to fight and you’re already giving up. If I didn’t know better I’d think you’re here just to try and dishearten people.

The Constitution has made it explicit, with black-letter text in simple English, that there are only a few requirements to hold the office of President, and the Supreme Court has also made it (unanimously) clear that no State has the authority to add, remove or alter conditions (when they were trying to get States to impose term limits) of that black-letter text regarding requirements for Federal Office.
     
    There is one Federal Law that might apply, but the only ones who have openly committed the acts defined in that law are Hillary Clinton (who admitted to the necessary facts under oath when testifying to Congress) and Nancy Pelosi, who committed hers on live national TV:

    US Code, Title 18, Part 1, Chapter 101, Section 2071
    Paragraph (a): “Whoever willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, or destroys, or attempts to do so, or, with intent to do so takes and carries away any record, proceeding, map, book, paper, document, or other thing, filed or deposited with any clerk or officer of any court of the United States, or in any public office, or with any judicial or public officer of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.”
    Paragraph (b): “Whoever, having the custody of any such record, proceeding, map, book, document, paper, or other thing, willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys the same, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States. As used in this subsection, the term ‘office’ does not include the office held by any person as a retired officer of the Armed Forces of the United States.”

    1. The Constitution is going to need an army to enforce its terms, dictates and rights. Unfortunately I don’t see one coming anywhere on the horizon. I wouldn’t put any faith in our justice system at this point. Our only real options are seizing power when it all collapses or trying to start a rebellion and hoping it catches fire. All of our institutions have been corrupted. Its us against them now.
